What Does Peace Mean to You

What does Peace mean to you?
The fresh crisp air to inhale?
The clean water to drink for children
everywhere?
The blue sky to look at
when silver clouds are hovering
over green meadows?
The birds flying with fast winds
stretching their wings
to reach higher altitudes?
The thoughts that nobody controls?
The dreams that you are to able to follow?
The life you can live with no fear for a future?
The laughter of a child in a safe world?
The wish to leave hatred behind
and reach out to each other in good will,
like a bird stretches its wings to reach
higher altitudes.
